To commemorate 33 years in the music industry, Trinidad and Tobago soca star Machel Montano wanted to create a book documenting his career and the various costumes he has worn along the way. In the development of this book, I aimed to achieve a look reminiscent of a museum catalog, highlighting the imagery and intricate details. To do this, I chose to remove the artist from the costumes, allowing for a greater focus on the garments and their theatrical motion.
